AN ACT relating to employment discrimination.

This bill would update Kentucky's civil rights law to make it illegal to discriminate against someone based on their weight in the workplace and related settings. It adds weight to the existing list of characteristics, such as race and sex, that employers and others are already prohibited from using as a basis for unfair treatment. Who it may affect: workers and job seekers across Kentucky, as well as employers, labor organizations, and employment agencies.
