AN ACT relating to curriculum.

This bill would require public middle schools and high schools in Kentucky to include instruction on the history of racism as part of their curriculum. It updates existing state law that governs what schools are required to teach. The bill is currently being considered in committee in the Kentucky House. Who it may affect: students and families in Kentucky public middle and high schools, as well as teachers and school administrators responsible for implementing curriculum.
