This bill would change how Kentucky public colleges and universities determine who qualifies as a Kentucky resident for tuition and admissions purposes. Specifically, it would require that anyone born in Kentucky be considered a Kentucky resident, even if they currently live elsewhere. This could affect tuition rates and admissions decisions at Kentucky's public colleges and universities. Who it may affect: people born in Kentucky who currently live in another state and are considering enrolling in a Kentucky public college or university.
