AN ACT relating to coverage for feeding or eating disorders.

This bill requires health insurance plans in Kentucky to cover the diagnosis and treatment of feeding and eating disorders. It also bars insurers from using measures like body mass index alone to deny or limit that coverage. The requirements apply to a wide range of plans, including Medicaid, the Children's Health Insurance Program, state employee health plans, and certain college and university employee plans, starting January 1, 2027.
