AN ACT relating to consolidated local governments.

This bill makes several changes to how consolidated local governments in Kentucky operate, covering areas such as ethics commission makeup, legal counsel, internal auditing, redistricting rules, and property taxation. It also gives the consolidated local government council the ability to override certain regulations from local health and solid waste boards within 45 days and makes it easier for smaller cities to incorporate within a consolidated local government's boundaries.
