AN ACT relating to home and hospital instruction.

This bill changes the rules for when students can start receiving home and hospital instruction services. Under the updated law, a student admitted to an inpatient facility would be eligible to receive educational services starting on the very first day of their admission, rather than having to wait. Who it may affect: students admitted to inpatient facilities and their families, as well as school districts responsible for providing these educational services.
