This bill would allow Kentucky to recognize occupational licenses and government certifications that workers have already earned in other states, so they would not have to start the licensing process over again after moving to Kentucky. It also counts relevant work experience as a path to obtaining a license or certification. Military members and their spouses are specifically included in the bill. Who it may affect: workers moving to Kentucky from other states, military service members, and military spouses.
