AN ACT relating to childhood sexual assault or abuse.

This bill would remove the time limit for filing a civil lawsuit related to childhood sexual assault or abuse in Kentucky. Under current law, there is a deadline by which survivors must sue; this change would allow them to take legal action at any point in their lives, no matter how much time has passed. Who it may affect: survivors of childhood sexual assault or abuse, and their families.
