This bill would allow time worked in full-time employment providing services to Kentucky River Community Care to count toward retirement eligibility in the Kentucky Employees Retirement System. That service could help workers qualify for retirement and meet the 20-year requirement for certain pension service purchases, though it would not affect the dollar amount of their retirement benefits. Who it may affect: current and former employees who worked full-time providing services to Kentucky River Community Care and are enrolled in the Kentucky Employees Retirement System.
