AN ACT relating to conservation.

This bill updates state law to clarify that soil and water conservation districts and watershed conservancy districts are considered special purpose governmental entities. It also exempts these conservation districts from certain reporting or oversight requirements that other special purpose governmental entities must follow. The change brings existing conservation districts under a clearer legal definition while reducing some of their administrative obligations.
