AN ACT relating to reading and writing in schools.

This bill strengthens how Kentucky public schools identify and support students with dyslexia and related writing difficulties, including dysgraphia. It makes it mandatory, rather than optional, for local school boards to have policies addressing these conditions, and requires the state Department of Education to collect and report data on dyslexia across districts.
