AN ACT relating to the mental health of first responders.

This bill would expand an existing mental health and wellness program for first responders to include rescue squad members, who are not currently eligible. It requires the Division of Emergency Management and the Kentucky Fire Commission to work together to make sure rescue squad members can access the program. Who it may affect: rescue squad members and the communities that rely on them for emergency response.
