AN ACT relating to dementia training.

This bill would have required the Department for Community Based Services to create and carry out a one-hour dementia training and continuing education course. Workers in supervisory roles, direct services, and adult protective services within that department would have been required to complete the training. Who it may affect: state agency staff in community-based and adult protective services roles, and the older adults or people living with dementia they serve.
