AN ACT relating to vehicle lights.

This bill would allow wrecker trucks to use flashing blue lights, but only when they are stopped at the scene of an accident or breakdown to remove a vehicle or debris from the road. Blue lights could not be used while a wrecker is actively towing a vehicle down the road. The change is intended to improve safety visibility at roadside recovery scenes. Who it may affect: wrecker and towing operators, and motorists who pass roadside recovery scenes.
