AN ACT relating to motor vehicle racing.

This bill would strengthen the penalties for illegal motor vehicle racing on public roads in Kentucky, adding vehicle impoundment and higher fines for those caught violating the existing street racing law. It builds on current rules by making the consequences more severe for offenders. Who it may affect: drivers and vehicle owners cited for illegal street racing, as well as residents in communities where street racing occurs.
