AN ACT relating to combating human trafficking.

This bill increases the criminal penalties for promoting human trafficking in Kentucky. Under the change, the offense would become a Class B felony, and if the victim is a minor, it would be elevated to the more serious Class A felony, which carries a longer potential prison sentence.
