AN ACT relating to child-care centers.

This bill would update Kentucky law to set new licensing requirements for child-care centers and establish standards for how those centers must operate. It revises two existing statutes to define what child-care centers need to do to be licensed and to remain in compliance with operational rules. Who it may affect: parents and guardians of young children, child-care center operators and staff.
