AN ACT relating to veteran treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder.

This bill adds post-traumatic stress disorder to the list of conditions that qualify a person to receive hyperbaric oxygen therapy under Kentucky law. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a medical treatment that delivers pure oxygen in a pressurized environment. The change means Kentuckians with PTSD would have a recognized path to access this treatment option under state medical guidelines.
