AN ACT relating to intranasal epinephrine.

This bill would update Kentucky school health law to add intranasal epinephrine, a medication delivered through the nose, to the list of approved treatments for severe allergic reactions. It would also allow schools to keep intranasal epinephrine on hand alongside other anaphylaxis medications they are already permitted to stock. Who it may affect: students and school staff, particularly those at risk for severe allergic reactions.
