This bill changes the rules around required training for deputy coroners in Kentucky. It allows a state commissioner to grant extensions for deputy coroners who need more time to complete their required training, while also clarifying when that extension starts and what happens if a deputy coroner still does not finish the training in time. It also removes older rules about reinstatement and pay changes for those who fail to complete training. Who it may affect: deputy coroners and the local governments that employ them.
