This bill would allow people who already hold a valid occupational license or government certification from another state to have that license recognized in Kentucky without going through the full licensing process again. Work experience could also count as a qualification for obtaining a license or certification. The bill includes specific protections for military members and their spouses. Who it may affect: workers licensed in other states who move to Kentucky, military service members, and military spouses.
