AN ACT relating to the removal of persons unlawfully occupying real property.

This bill updates Kentucky's existing law on removing people who are unlawfully occupying property. It would expand which law enforcement agencies can carry out those removals to include consolidated local government agencies, and it would require that certain notices be posted in a clearly visible location. Who it may affect: property owners, residents of consolidated local governments such as Louisville Metro, and local law enforcement agencies.
