AN ACT relating to actions for forcible entry and detainer.

This bill would automatically clear court records when an eviction case is dismissed, and would allow records from eviction proceedings to be sealed. This matters to Kentuckians because eviction records can appear in background checks and affect a person's ability to rent housing in the future, even when a case did not result in an eviction.
