This bill would create a new legal definition for pregnancy resource centers in Kentucky and require them to obtain a state license to operate. The state Cabinet for Health and Family Services would be responsible for setting the standards those centers must meet to get licensed. Running or advertising a pregnancy resource center without a license would be treated as a Class A misdemeanor under state law. Who it may affect: people seeking services at pregnancy resource centers, and the organizations that operate those centers.
