AN ACT relating to licensees authorized to prescribe or dispense controlled substances.

This bill removes an existing rule that permanently bans people from obtaining a license if they have been convicted of a felony related to prescribing or dispensing controlled substances. Under the change, licensing boards would have more flexibility in how they handle these cases rather than being required to impose a lifetime ban.
