AN ACT relating to childhood sexual assault or abuse.

This bill would remove the deadline for filing civil lawsuits related to childhood sexual assault or abuse. Under current law, survivors must file their case within a certain number of years, but this change would allow them to sue at any point in their lifetime, no matter how long ago the abuse occurred. Who it may affect: survivors of childhood sexual assault or abuse, and those they may bring civil claims against.
