This bill requires government agencies, corporations, and school districts that issue certain bonds to report the costs of issuing those bonds to two legislative oversight committees. It adds a transparency step so that lawmakers can monitor how much is being spent to secure public borrowing. This applies to bonds authorized through state appropriations or issued on behalf of Kentucky school districts. Who it may affect: school districts, state agencies, and legislators responsible for overseeing public spending.
