AN ACT relating to unlawful employment.

This bill would make it a crime under Kentucky law for someone to knowingly employ a person who is not legally authorized to work in the United States. It creates a new offense called "unlawful employment," defined as a Class A misdemeanor, which is the most serious misdemeanor level and can carry up to 12 months in jail and fines.
