AN ACT relating to the establishment of a grant database.

This bill would require Kentucky's Finance and Administration Cabinet to build a central database listing all available state and local government grants. State and local agencies would be required to report their grant opportunities so the information is collected in one place. This could make it easier for individuals and organizations to find and apply for government grants they may currently not know about. Who it may affect: state and local government agencies, nonprofits, businesses, and community organizations that seek or administer government grants.
