AN ACT relating to poultry.

This bill would allow certain small poultry processors that are already exempt from full USDA inspection requirements to sell their products directly to individual consumers. Those sales would be permitted to take place on a farm, at a farmers market, or at a roadside stand. It also creates a legal definition for "end consumer" to clarify who can purchase through these direct sales channels. Who it may affect: small-scale poultry farmers and processors, and Kentuckians who buy locally raised poultry at farms, farmers markets, or roadside stands.
