AN ACT relating to school district reporting and declaring an emergency.

This bill reduces the number of reports that Kentucky school districts and superintendents are required to submit to state education agencies. It removes several specific reporting obligations related to physical activity, teacher training, minority teacher recruitment, and workplace ethics programs, and limits the state education department and board from requiring school improvement plan components beyond what federal law or state law expressly mandates. It also repeals minimum requirements for summer learning camps, with most changes taking effect July 1, 2026.
