AN ACT relating to sibling visitation.

This bill would change Kentucky law to allow a sibling to go to court and request the right to visit their brother or sister. Currently, that option is not available to siblings under this statute. If passed, it would give courts the ability to consider and grant reasonable sibling visitation. Who it may affect: siblings who are separated and wish to maintain a relationship, as well as families involved in custody or guardianship situations.
