AN ACT relating to hazardous duty retirement for code enforcement personnel of a consolidated local government.

This bill would change the definition of "hazardous position" in state law to include code enforcement and zoning inspection workers employed by a consolidated local government. This change would make those workers eligible for hazardous duty retirement benefits through the County Employees Retirement System.
