A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION urging the United States Congress to allow users of medical cannabis to own firearms.

This resolution urges the U.S. Congress to change federal law so that people who use medical cannabis are not prohibited from owning firearms. Under current federal law, cannabis users are barred from purchasing or possessing guns, and this resolution asks Congress to address that conflict. It does not create any new Kentucky law on its own. Who it may affect: Kentuckians who use or are considering medical cannabis and who also wish to exercise firearm ownership rights.
