AN ACT relating to city government.

This bill changes how cities in Kentucky can set pay incentives for city officers who earn college credit hours beyond what their position requires. It lets each city decide for itself, through a local ordinance, what base incentive amounts to offer, and removes the current statewide minimums and maximums on those payments. Who it may affect: city government employees and officers, and residents of Kentucky cities that choose to adjust their local compensation ordinances.
