AN ACT relating to the Kentucky Emergency Volunteer Corps.

This bill creates the Kentucky Emergency Volunteer Corps (KEV Corps) as a new volunteer unit within the Kentucky State Defense Force. It sets rules for who can join, how members are trained, what they wear, and how the corps is funded. Local emergency management directors and city or county governments would be able to call on KEV Corps members to help during local disasters or emergencies.
