This bill would create a new legal pathway for people who are injured because of an intoxicated minor's actions. It would allow them to sue adults who knowingly let a minor drink alcohol or use controlled substances on their property, as well as anyone who provided those substances to the minor. Parents of the minor are specifically excluded from this liability. Who it may affect: adults who host gatherings where minors are present, people injured by intoxicated minors, and anyone who supplies alcohol or controlled substances to minors.
