AN ACT relating to discrimination in educational settings and declaring an emergency.

This bill would ban Kentucky public schools and the state Department of Education from spending resources on diversity, equity, and inclusion programs or giving preferential treatment based on race, sex, religion, color, or national origin. It would eliminate the Department of Education's Division of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging and bar schools from asking job applicants about their views or experiences related to those topics.
