AN ACT relating to reimbursements for pharmacist services.

This bill would require Kentucky's Medicaid and KCHIP programs to follow the same pharmacy reimbursement rules already established under state law for other insurance plans. If federal approval is needed to make this change, the relevant state agencies would be directed to seek it. Who it may affect: Kentuckians enrolled in Medicaid or KCHIP, pharmacists and pharmacies that serve those patients, and the state agencies that manage these programs.
