AN ACT relating to identity documents.

This bill creates a medical review board to evaluate whether a person's physical or mental condition affects their ability to drive safely, and requires the board to accept a statement from the person's own doctor confirming they are fit to drive. It also removes the possibility of suspending a driver's license as a penalty for being a delinquent taxpayer. Who it may affect: Kentucky drivers with physical or mental health conditions, people whose licenses have been or could be suspended for unpaid taxes, and taxpayers generally.
