AN ACT relating to public library district boards of trustees.

This bill changes how members are appointed to public library district boards of trustees in Kentucky. Currently, appointments involve consultation with existing board members and the Department for Libraries and Archives, but this bill would give county judges/executives the power to appoint members and fill vacancies with only fiscal court approval, removing that consultation requirement.
