AN ACT relating to animal agriculture.

This bill expands the definition of "home-based processor" in Kentucky law to include people who make cosmetic products from tallow, which is a fat derived from animals. It allows these home-based producers to legally make and sell tallow-based cosmetics as long as they follow registration and regulation requirements set by the Cabinet for Health and Family Services. Who it may affect: people who produce or sell homemade animal-based cosmetic products, and small-scale farmers or animal agriculture producers who may supply tallow.
