AN ACT relating to timely emergency response by coroners, making an appropriation therefor and declaring an emergency.

This bill would require Kentucky's county coroners, working with the Kentucky Coroners Association, to establish emergency response areas across the state and equip each area with a trailer stocked with the tools needed to respond when multiple people die in a single event, such as a mass casualty disaster. It also directs the Division of Emergency Management to set rules for how this system would work, and includes funding to make it happen.
